Kaci Durbin, MD, MBA
Kaci Durbin graduated summa cum laude from Saint Louis University in 2004, achieving an honors bachelor of arts degree in biology and psychology. After college, she earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois, graduating in 2008 with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. She graduated residency in 2012 from the University of Louisville and achieved board certification in 2013. She also earned a masters in business administration while in full-time clinical practice. She currently works full-time as a medical writer.
Dr. Durbin has experience in many different areas of medical writing including CME and CE publications, grant proposals, educational case studies, slide presentations, needs assessments, news pieces, feature articles, and more.
As a medical school graduate and former physician, Dr. Durbin is comfortable writing on a wide variety of medical topics, for both clinician and non-clinician audiences. However, as an obstetrician-gynecologist, areas of expertise include: women's health topics such as general and high-risk obstetrics, gynecology, gynecologic malignancies, and infertility. She also has experience writing on topics in the fields of oncology, cardiology, hematology, and endocrinology.
She is known for her tireless work ethic, attention to detail, and efficiency. Kaci is also a member of the American Medical Writer's Association and has successfully earned the AMWA Essential Skills certificate.
